How to Fix Epson Printer Not Printing After Changing Ink Issue?

Epson printers are available in various models. Epson manufacturers printers for home users which are compact and provides both wired and wireless compatibility. Epson printer also manufactures printers for enterprises according to the requirements and compatibility. Epson printers are very reliable as users merely find any kind of issues with Epson printers. But like other hardware devices, there are few issues which you may face with Epson. A common error reported by many Epson users is Epson Printer not printing properly after refilling.
Why is my Epson Printer not printing when the ink is full?
This kind of issue can appear due to various reasons like using low-quality cartridges, dry ink, incompatible cartridges, paper jam, corrupted printer drivers, etc. For troubleshooting Epson printer won’t print issues; you have to check for every aspect which can cause the error.
Paper jamming
If your printer is dealing with paper jam then your printer won’t print. Paper jam in an Epson printer occurs when a chuck on paper gets stuck inside the printer. You have to remove the paper to troubleshoot the error. Paper jams can also occur when your printer roller draws multiple papers together. Open the cartridge door and take out your cartridge. Now take a clean cloth and remove all the junk. Check your printer rollers and then reinstall the cartridge on your Epson printer. Give a print command and check whether the error gets fixed or not. If still my Epson printer won’t print then asking for professional help can be beneficial.
Why won’t my epson printer print after using the new cartridge?
If your printer is not printer after installing a new cartridge then check your cartridge immediately. When you install a new cartridge, you must remove all the tapping and seal. Check all the contact pins. Sometimes users forget to remove the seal from the contact pins. Take out the cartridge and check all the contact pins. This error can also appear when you are using a third-party cartridge on an Epson printer. Sometimes those cartridges don’t fit properly inside the printer which creates the printing issues. Using low-quality cartridges can also damage your printer. You should always use the original Epson cartridge. If you don’t want to spend more money then refill ink on your cartridge. But you should refill the cartridge carefully.
Cartridge ink gets dried up
This type of issue can also get users into printing errors. If the ink on my printer gets dried up then my Epson printer will not print. When you haven’t used your printer for a long time, the ink inside the cartridge gets dried up. Once the ink gets dry you can either refill new ink or add solvent in the dried ink. Open the cartridge door and take out your ink cartridge carefully. Now open the ink drums and add some drops of solvent in them. Close the lid of ink drums tightly and shake the drums until the ink and solvent get mixed well. Now reinstall the ink cartridge on your Epson printer and take a test printout. You should refill the ink carefully as the printer ink has some carbon contents which is very harmful to your lungs. If the ink gets dried up then you can also install a new cartridge on your printer.
Check Epson’s printhead
Printing errors can appear when your printhead is dealing with some kind of issues. Sometimes the printhead gets clogged by the ink; you have to clean the printhead for troubleshooting the error. Go to the home screen and click on setup. Navigate to the Maintenance option and then click on Printhead Nozzle Check. Click on Clean the printhead option and your printer will clean the printhead automatically. Repeat this technique for about 4-5 times. You can also clean the printhead manually. After cleaning the printhead; restart your printer and check whether the error gets resolved or not.
Check your printer driver
If the Epson printer not printing properly then check the printer driver immediately. If your printer driver is outdated or gets corrupted then restore all the corrupted files. Now go to your PC and give a print command to take a test printout.
